the first few weeks are the hardest, keep that in mind
Yeah, I’ll try, but I don’t really see it getting any better. (That being said, I’m supposed to be trying to think positive/let in a lot of good energy.)

Whatever you think is best for you, sweetie
Casey, I love you.
I’m definitely going to try to work towards the end of the semester if I can. (And I’m going to message you in a little bit to tell you some good news.)
Today has been a good day—but I don’t want to speak too soon.
English went well, I contributed it a little bit. I just have reading to do and then I’m done. I talked to my sister for about an hour today, which was really nice so I’m going to try to call her more often. I can talk a lot of things through with her.
I’m about to spend another $40 on two books because I need them to get here quickly so I won’t get behind in my reading. Without shipping costs, they’re under $20.
Also: The three of them are in lecture halls so there’s a lot of people/I most likely won’t lose a letter grade for not raising my handthank all that is good.
And: My journalism teacher is an actual journalist, and he writes for a music magazine that he gave us copies of if we wanted it. (And I’m wondering if music journalism is something I’d want to do.)
This morning was rough, but classes went well. My journalism teacher reminds me a John Green and says that he (my teacher, not JG) is a “nosey motherfucker.” And he said we could call him George because he isn’t an academic.
My human sexuality teacher is cool too, one of the films we’ll watch during year is Secretary, which I’ve seen at least half of—it had to do with a SM relationship between a woman and her boss. We had to do an exercise today that made us socialize—didn’t learn any names but they were nice and the exercise was fun.
My intro to soc teacher wants us to call her Mary—she’s nice. I met a girl in her class named Lauren, she’s a social work major. She’s cool, smokes cigarettes (but even asked me if it was okay if she did while we walked back to the dorm), and lives in my building.
Now I’m going to take off my pants, eventually eat a burrito/do some reading for class/find books I need/talk to my sister.

no. it’s a good thing! school is awesome. and besides without rain flowers wouldn’t grow. purpose for everything and soforth. maybe due to the rain you’ll meet someone awesome because you get marrooned somewhere and you’ll make a new friend :)
Thanks :) This morning was rough, but it eventually stopped raining. I met a guy in my class right before it started, he was nice, a transfer. And a girl I met at orientation was in my class so I talked to her. Didn’t get marrooned though! Maybe next time.

It’s pouring. I can barely seem out my window.
In 15-30 minutes I have to walk to class (it starts at 11 but I don’t know where the building is).
Today doesn’t feel like a good day.
